AMICOS North America 2024 Convention Souvenir

AMICOSNA is excited to release a Souvenir to commemorate our 2024 Annual Convention in Dallas, Texas. We invite original articles of general interest for publication. These can include personal life experiences, literary musings such as poetry, travelogues, humor, book reviews, or human interest stories. Articles related to medicine, science, and technology are also welcome, provided they are accessible and informative for a general audience (please avoid scientific manuscripts or articles with a journal-like feel). You may include select photographs and illustrations with your articles.

Guidelines for Articles:

Articles must be in English or Malayalam, limited to 1000 words (max 2 pages).Please submit in MS-Word format only and ensure to spell-check.Do not send articles in PDF or JPEG format, as they cannot be edited.Include brief author details (title, profession, and location) at the bottom of the article.

Photographs / Illustrations:

All photographs for articles must be in JPEG format, with high resolution (1-2 meg). Photographs and illustrations should be sent as separate attachments in the same email. Do not embed them in the Word document. Include a full-face author photograph (JPEG) as a separate attachment.

Deadline for Submission: July 31, 2024

The editorial committee reserves the right to accept, reject, or edit submissions as needed. While we aim to publish as many articles as possible, some may be reserved for later publication or in the Reporter due to space constraints.

AMICOSNA 2024 Convention Souvenir (Advertisements & Photo-Sponsorships)

We invite advertisements for our magazine from the business community (including retail, real estate, insurance, tax and finance consultancies, legal, medical, and dental professions, travel and airlines, restaurants, jewelry, ayurvedic/spa, garment and fashion businesses, attorneys, etc.). This is an excellent opportunity to reach a large number of Mar Ivanios College Alumni and their families who will be attending the Dallas convention. Your financial support for the event is greatly appreciated.

All advertisements must be in JPEG format, with the highest resolution possible (at least 1-2 meg).

Include brief sponsor details (name, business represented, and contact info [email & phone numbers]).

Text-based Compliments & Photographs of Sponsoring Families (see rates below):

Must be in English or Malayalam.
